Elfyn Evans does not concern about his performance in Finland after a one-year absence of that event from WRC calendar and he is being confident after his tests there.
The Welsh driver will drive for a first time the Toyota Yaris WRC at Rally Finland this week as this event was cancelled last year due to coronavirus and due to fact that the main sponsor of the event, Neste, withdrew its sponsorship.
Finally, it must be mentioned that Evans did not participate in Rally Finland 2019 as his co-driver, Daniel Barritt, was injured in his back after having had a landing in WRC promotional event in Estonia which had been held before Rally Finland.
"It’s not like everybody else has been there every year, is it?", said Evans.
"Everybody missed last season, so I don’t see it as an issue.
"We had a good test on Sunday using a medium and narrow-width road which hasn’t been used on the event since the 1990s.
"Everything went to plan with the test, we ran through everything we wanted and made some changes.
"It was good".
