Fourmaux part ways with Jamoul for the rest of 2021

Adrien Fourmaux announced that he will no longer have alongside him Renaud Jamoul after a two-year partnership.

The crew started their career together back in 2019 when Fourmaux drove as a privateer a Ford Fiesta R5.

The French driver signed a contract with M-Sport Ford for season 2020 and both of them took part in WRC2 category with the Rally2 car of the team while they earned a part-time programme this season in the main category of WRC and in the same time they participated in WRC2 category.

The best finish for the crew was at this year's Safari Rally Kenya when they finished fifth overall and he took his first ever stage win there.

However, Fourmaux announced via his social media the end of the partnership with Jamoul, but it is yet to confirm who will be his new co-driver.

"After almost three years of partnership, Renaud and I have gone our separate ways", said Fourmaux.

"The story began at a motorway service area and finished after the Acropolis in the WRC.

"What a journey we’ve been on together.

"Thank you for being with me for my international debut and accepting the co-driver role for the young, fiery driver I was.

"Thank you for these moments.

"From the first WRC point to the first fastest stage time, passing by the ERC victory on the Canarias, but also all the laughs and the “Jamoulaux” omelettes each race morning.

"I wish you all the best for your future.

"I’m convinced that you will achieve great things.

"Thanks Renaud!"
