The technical director of Toyota Gazoo Racing WRC, Tom Fowler, hints that Elfyn Evans's tests ahead of Acropolis Rally Greece were a bit dramatic withut sharing more details about it.
The Welsh driver did some tests with his Yaris in the stages of Lamia, the host city of Acropolis Rally Greece, but he faced some technical issues during his tests as a result of that he did not get as many kilometers as his teammates did.
"I guess you would call it challenging", Fowler said.
"It wasn’t a major drama, but it didn’t go as smoothly as you might have hoped.
"As a team, we’ve done everything we wanted to do, but every driver wants to do everything themselves and maybe Elfyn didn’t get quite as many kilometers as the others".
