Rally Monza will host the final round of this year's championship after the calcellation of Rally Japan due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rally Japan was expected to be the final round of this season, but the organizers were forced to cancel it due to the pandemic effects in this country and this announcent was done some days ago.
WRC Promoter and FIA were working hard to provide a full calendar this season and they decided that Rally Monza will be the replacement of cancelled Rally Japan.
Rally Monza hosted a WRC event for the first time last year and Sebastien Ogier was the winner of that event.
Last year's Rally Monza included tarmac stages outside the circuit of Monza on riday and on Saturday, but the Sunday's stages passed inside this circuit.
