Sebastien Ogier is being excited with his rookie test with Toyota and with the GR010 Hybrid car admitting that he did not push enoughas he was learning his new car.
The French driver took part on Sunday's rookie test of Toyota at Bahrain International Circuit and he completed 84 laps with GR010 Hybrid.
In fact he was in Monza last Thursday to test his Yaris WRC ahead of the WRC season finale and after his WRC test he travelled to Bahrain with the intention of watching the last race of WEC series and testing the Toyota hypercar on Sunday.
Finally, Charles Milesi was the other driver who participated in Toyota's rookie test in Bahrain after having won the WEC LMP2 title on Saturday.
"It was very exciting to drive the GR010 HYBRID and I really enjoyed my time in the car", Ogier said.
"I didn't put myself under any pressure in terms of results because there are so many new parameters for me.
"I had to get used to the cornering speed, the braking, how the car is rotating and the hybrid system, which is something special.
"It's a different mind-set to do one lap and then try to do better on the next one, compared to rally where every corner is unique.
"Thanks to TOYOTA GAZOO Racing for this special opportunity to discover endurance racing".
