Thierry Neuville makes a comparison between Hyundai's and Toyota's driver line-up for next year, but he believes that there will be an uncertainty with the new generation cars.
Hyundai Motorsport has announced Thierry Neuville and Ott Tanak as its regular drivers while Oliver Solberg and Dani Sordo will share the third car of the team in 2022, but it is tipped that the last one will participate only in five events.
On the other hand, Toyota will continue with Elfyn Evans and Kalle Rovanpera as its main drivers while it announced that Esapekka Lappi and Sebastien Ogier will share the third Yaris, because the last one retired from WRC as a full-time driver and he may compete in WEC next year.
"Toyota has a very strong line-up, we all know that", Neuville said.
"I wouldn’t say our line-up isn’t strong enough to fight against them, to be honest.
"We’re going to see a different kind of season next year – I don’t think anybody really knows where we stand and I think we will have to cope with a lot of surprises.
"Experience is very important and is going to be a decider in the fight for the championship, I think that’s clear".
