Francois Delecour announced via his social media that he will take part in this year's Rallye Monte Carlo and will be behind the wheel of an Alpine A110 Rally RGT.
The French driver will be for a 22nd time in Monte Carlo and he had finished many times in the podium positions in that event when he was a WRC driver.
In fact he had won Rallye Monte Carlo back in 1994 when he was competing with a Ford Escort RS Cosworth.
Moreover, Jean-Rodolphe Guigonnet will be his co-driver in WRC season opener in Monte Carlo.
"Friends, it's official, I will be present at the 90th edition of the Monte-Carlo Rally at the wheel of an Alpine A110 RGT", Delecour wrote in his social media.
"By my side Jean-Rodolphe Guigonnet will be there to try to get first place in two-wheel drive and the RGT".
