The deputy team principal of Hyundai Motorsport, Julien Moncet, will continue being in charge in Sweden, but his future is not decided yet.
After Andrea Adamo's departure from Hyundai at the end of 2021, the Korean team chose Julien Moncet as the first one's replacement, but this choice is temporary as the team is searching for a permanent solution.
However, as we mentioned two days ago, Moncet is set to be the new WRC2 boss as Andrew Johns, the Customer Racing manager of Hyundai, will leave his position next month.
"For the moment I’m in charge", Moncet said.
"I will still be there in Sweden, so I will be the boss, because I know sometimes you are wondering, but it will be me.
"Then we are still working on our internal organization and it takes a bit of time.
"But soon we will come back with something more definitive".
