Adrien Fourmaux wants to finish in a podium position at Rally Croatia after the difficult start he had in 2022 admitting that the Ford Puma Rally1 is a strong car.
So far, the French driver has not scored any points on this year's driver championship as he had two retirements due to a crash and a mechanical issue in Monte Carlo and in Sweden respectively.
It must be mentioned that Fourmaux started his WRC debut with M-Sport Ford in Croatia last year and finished in fifth position there.
"I’m confident", Fourmaux said.
"I just need to find a good pace and get to the end to score some points because I think we need some.
"I want to do a really strong rally and last year we finished fifth.
"So, if we can do better, I really would like to get my first podium.
"I think we missed something really interesting in Monte Carlo, so I would like to get it in Croatia.
"We know that we have a strong car, so we’ll see.
"We are also here to fight, but for sure, a podium is something I would like to have.
"But if I don’t, it’s OK.
"I really want to take this pace on asphalt and have a good feeling with the Puma".
