Pierre-Louis Loubet is talking about what happened in Stage 19 of Rally Estonia which led him to retire on the final day of the event.
The French driver was eighth overall before the start of SS19, but he had to slow down his pace on that stage after hitting a rock and then drove over another rock resulting in damaging the front left suspension and dropping more than one minute.
However, this was not the first mistake for him in Estonia as he rolled his Puma in a ditch in Stage 9, but he managed to get to the finish line despite the fact that he lost more than two minutes there.
"I don’t know what to say, I just made a stupid mistake today", Loubet said.
"On Friday when we lost sixth place, we had been in a good position, so it was a shame to lose time on that last stage.
"I was uncomfortable throughout the rest of the weekend after that.
"This morning, I was more focused on the next corner than the previous one, I was thinking about the next one because it was a corner I didn’t like.
"It’s all on me, and it’s a mistake I won’t be making again because on this event you can’t get away with it".
