Sami Pajari confirms that he will compete in two more events in WRC2 class this year and will drive a Skoda Fabia evo Rally2 of Toksport WRT again.
The Finn driver is currently competing in WRC3 class with M-Sport Ford in 2022, but he did an outing with Toksport at Rally Italia Sardegna and finished fifth overall in that event.
However, he reached an agreement with Toksport WRT and will take part in Finland and Spain which means that he will have the opportunity to take a taste of Skoda Rally2 car on fast gravel roads and on tarmac.
Last but not least, it must be mentioned that he will continue to defend his WRC3 title as he will compete in Estonia with the Ford Fiesta Rally3.
"The drive with Toksport got off to a brilliant start in Sardinia and we couldn’t be more excited to get to try the Rally2 Fabia on the much faster roads of Finland", Pajari said.
"The outing in Spain in autumn will in turn give us the chance to try the beast on fast asphalt roads, so all in all we will get a proper taste of Rally2 speeds already this season.
"This is a superb opportunity for us, to get to drive our home event in such a car is a real pleasure.
"We’ve put a huge effort in assembling this diverse package for the season and this is again a display of success on that part".
