Marcus Gronholm is being hopeful that Jari Huttunen will do more WRC outings after his debut in Finland at the top level, but at the same time he is aware of being difficult to find sponsors.
The young Finn made his WRC debut in Finland last weekend and competed with the fifth Ford Puma Rally1.
However, the things did not go well for him as he suffered from fuel pressure and power steering issues on Friday and Saturday respectively, thus he finished ninth overall as he dropped more than five minutes on the second day of the rally.
"Of course we want to have him more in the car, but we need some good results and then we will speak with Malcolm and let's see what he can do. It is not easy", Gronholm said.
"There is a hope.
"For the moment, he still has two more rallies to do with the WRC2 car to finish this season but of course we hope.
"This is now the first stage, so let's see.
"It is really hard on the sponsorship font.
"To find the money to do this rally, I'm exhausted.
"I understand Malcolm doesn't have the funding and we need to find to somehow run and pay all the people and staff, it is not an easy one."
