The team principal of M-Sport Ford, Richard Millener, says that his team has to be better for the rest of 2022 and suggests that they have to put behind the bad things that happened in the previous rallies and to remember that the Puma has the potential to win events.
The British team had a catastrophic rally in Belgium as all of its drivers did mistakes resulting in only Craig Breen and Gus Greensmith getting to the finish line of that event as Adrien Fourmaux crashed out from his fifth place in Stage 19 on the final day of Ypres Rally.
Last but not least, Greensmith and Breen finished outside the top ten with the last one restarting under the regulations of Rally2 on Sunday after his crash on Saturday.
"We have to put the bad ones behind us, to refocus and to move on", Millener said.
"That’s what we’re going to do.
"It is tough, everybody in the factory, everybody in the team is working flat out for this season and rallies like that last one test you.
"We know what we have to do, we have to be better.
"We’re not happy with the results, nobody is.
"One thing we can’t forget is that this car won a round of the World Rally Championship a few months ago – so the car’s definitely not a bad one".
