Rally Finland - 2nd Day - 2nd Loop: Lappi cuts Tanak's gap, fuel issues strike Huttunen

At the end of the second day, Ott Tanak is still leading Rally Finland with Esapekka Lappi and Elfyn Evans following him.

Ott Tanak remains on top of the overall classification setting the fastest time in Stage 7.

Esapekka Lappi is still second, but he reduced his gap from the first Tanak as he was the fastest driver in Stage 8, 9 and 10.

Elfyn Evans completes the 2-3 for Toyota and his third place is being under threat by Kalle Rovanpera as their gap is at 1,7 seconds.

The young driver of Toyota had a huge moment 1.5 Km into the last stage of the day as he ran wide on a fast left-hander and almost ended up in the trees.

Craig Breen dropped to fifth from fourth at the end of Stage 7 as he lost 10,1 seconds there due to the fact that he had a huge impact with a rock.

Takamoto Katsuta comes right behind the M-Sport driver for three seconds. Moreover, he said at the end of Stage 10 that he had pushed a button accidentally after a big sideways moment and had no hybrid power for a short section.

Thierry Neuville remains seventh overall and still was struggling to find confidence with his car in these fast gravel roads.

Pierre-Louis Loubet, Gus Greensmith and Teemu Suninen complete the top ten.

Adrien Fourmaux and Jari Huttuned are outside the top ten. The last one dropped more than 5 minutes in Stage 8 as he had fuel pressure issues with his Puma.
