The organizers of Rally New Zealand announced the rally route of their event of 2022 which will take place in Auckland from September 29 to October 2.
The drivers will make their final changes to their cars in Inland Road (Shakedown) which will start on Thursday 29 September, but the organizers have not announced the distance for this early test. The rally action will start with a superspecial stage at Pukekawa Auckland Domain at Thursday night.
On Friday 30 September, the crews will head to south to the Waikato for six stages and the total kilometers will reach the 156. "Whaanga Coast", "Te Akau South" and "Te Akau North" will run twice. The stage "Te Akau South" will be the longest stage of the rally.
On Saturday, the rally action will return in Auckland for the first time in ten years and will include a double pass from the stages "Kaipara Hills", "Puhoi" (the longest stage of the day) and "Komokoriki".
The final day will include four stages which will be running twice and "Jack’s Ridge Haunu" will host the Powerstage. The "Whitford Forest Te Maraunga Waiho" will be the opening stage of Sunday and the penultimate one of the rally, but is also a brand new.
Totally, the Rally New Zealand of 2022 will include 17 stages and 275 Kilometers.
