M-Sport Ford hopes for a turnaround in Greece

The team principal of M-Sport Ford, Richard Millener, hopes that his team will get a good result at Acropolis Rally Greece next week and is looking forward to seeing Sebastien Loeb back in action again.

The British team has a catastrophic rally in Belgium as only two of its drivers got to the finish line of the event while Adrien Fourmaux had a huge crash on the penultimate stage resulting in retiring.

In addition to that, due to to the fact that Fourmaux's car was heavily damaged after this accident, M-Sport mechanics were unable to prepare it for Greece which means that the Frenchman will skip next week's rally.

However, Craig Breen and Gus Greensmith also made mistakes in Ypres and for this reason both of them finished outside the top ten.

M-Sport Ford is now heading to Greece with a five-car entry with Pierre-Louis Loubet, Sebastien Loeb and Jourdan Serderidis joining with the regular pair, Greensmith and Breen.

"It’s been a pretty gruelling turnaround for the team to get five cars prepared for gravel, but we are now ready and raring to go for Greece", Millener said.

"I’m looking forward to having Séb and Isabelle back with us and with his experience on this event we are feeling optimistic.

"It hasn’t been an easy season by any means, but we have seen some very promising and exciting pace from each and every one of our crews, so we have to take that and move forward.

"Greece is always an epic event; it is called the Rally of Gods for a reason!

"I’m particularly looking forward to WRC returning to the Olympic stadium for a side by side super special; a truly awesome setting for an awesome sport.

"We’ve seen some good results on gravel this year, particularly in Sardinia, so I’m looking forward to seeing what the team can do next week".
