The World Motor Council of FIA was hosted on 19 October 2022 and a cost cap decision was made, but the WRC calendar of 2023 is yet to be confirmed.
During this council, FIA decided that there will be a cost cap in the design, build and development of Rally2, Rally3, Rally4 and Rally5 cars like it is happening in Formula1 and with Rally1 cars right now. In addition to that, further decisions will be made for controlling the cost caps if prices will raise in the future.
Last but not least, the press release of FIA mentions that the WRC calendar of 2023 will be confirmed later this year despite the fact that it was expected to be finalised yesterday.
