Skoda Motorsport confirmed today when and in which event the new Fabia RS Rally2 will make its first appearance as well the driver who will be behind the steering wheel of this car.
The debut of the new Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 was supposed to have done at Rally Finland two months ago, but due to production issues the Czech brand postponed to deliver these new cars to Toksport WRT and it was unknown when these cars would be running.
Eventually, the date has been revealed by Skoda and Andreas Mikkelsen will drive this new Rally2 car at Lausitz-Rallye which will be held in Saxony on November 5.
"The rally is completely new to me", Mikkelsen said.
"What I have seen from videos, the stages are pretty fast.
"In some parts, deep ruts make especially the second runs quite rough.
"The rally should make the competition debut of the ŠKODA FABIA RS Rally2 a real challenge".
