Abiteboul to be at Hyundai's team principal role in 2023?

According to the Belgian news publication La Derniere Heure, Cyril Abiteboul may join Hyundai Motorsport in 2023 and replace Julien Moncet.

After Andrea Adamo's departure from Hyundai Motorsport at the end of 2021, the team named Julien Moncet as its deputy team principal for 2022 as they were looking for a suitable person for this role. The confirmation of the new team principal is expected to be done this week following the announcement of the 2023 driver line-up.

Cyril Abiteboul is a very experienced person and very capable of managing difficult situations as he was the managing director of Renault Sport F1 from 2014 to 2020. However, it must be metioned that, apart from Abiteboul, it was tipped that Eric Boullier was another one candidate for the team principal role at Hyundai.
