PH Sport protested against Toksport and Nikolay Gryazin in favor of Yohan Rossel by sending a video to the stewards of Rallye Monte Carlo.
More specifically, PH Sport detected a violation on sporting regulations by Nikolay Gryazin in Stage 14 and sent a relevant video to the stewards. The Russian driver made a cut in a corner of that stage and should not have done that, according to the road book. He explained to them that he was off the road as he suffered from a puncture and was not able to keep his car on the road. Eventually they decided to give him a five-second time penalty which means that he drops from first to second overall in WRC2 class as his lead from Yohan Rossel was 4,5 seconds. The Frenchman is now the winner of WRC2 class at Rallye Monte Carlo by five tenths of a second.
