Toksport revealed today the livery of the brand-new Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 which will be made its debut in WRC2 class this year.
Skoda Motorsport delayed to deliver this brand-new car to its customers due to the supply issues the Czech car brand faced in 2022, but finally the wait is over as this Fabia will be driven by many Toksport drivers this year. The German team has announced Oliver Solberg, Gus Greensmith, Emil Lindholm, Sami Pajari, Marquito Bulacia and Nikolay Gryazin as its drivers for 2023 while Francois Delecour will have the chance to compete with it at Rallye Monte Carlo this month. It must be mentioned that this livery will not be the same on Solberg's and Greensmith's cars as both of them have different sponsors.
The Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 was developed in the hands of Kris Meeke who completed his final test with it in Greece two moths ago. However, it is still unknown if the Nothern Irish driver will do an outing in WRC2 class with Toksport this season. Last but not least, Andreas Mikkelsen secured the WRC2 title in 2021 driving a Skoda Fabia evo Rally2 and was the first driver who participated with the Fabia RS Rally2 in a rally of the German Championship last November, but his plans for WRC2 are still unknown and it is tipped that he will not be at Toksport's squad in 2023.
