The organizers of RallyEstonia announced the route of their event which will be held on July 20-23.
From July 18-19, the crews will have the chance to make some final corrects to their pacenotes during the recossainnance sections. The Shakedown session starts on Thursday 20 July with the stage "Karste" which was at the itinerary in 2018, but this one will be smaller in comparison with that year. Later, the autograph session and the ceremonial start will be held at Tartu Town Hall Square while the fans will have the chance to watch live the superspecial stage "Tartu vald" at 20:05 local time.
The real rally action begins on Friday with seven stages, three of them will be running twice. The opening stage of both loops is "Peipsiääre" which is the longest of the rally with 24,35 Kilometers in distance. "Mustvee" and "Raanitsa" are the following ones after "Peipsiääre" while "Neeruti" is included only on the afternoon loop and will be the finish stage of the second day.
Saturday includes nine stages and 102,75 competitive Kilometers. The morning loop includes two stages in which the crews will pass twice. "Mäeküla" will be the first stage of the day and was out of the itinerary in 2021. The action continues with "Otepää" which will be also the concluding stage of the morning. In the afternoon, there will be two runs from two stages plus one stage. "Elva" and "Kanepi" could not be missing from Rally Estonia's route as they have been running since 2020 when this event joined the World Rally Championship. The final stage of the day will be "Tartu vald" which will be held at 20:24 local time and will provide to the fans a night show.
Sunday includes two passes from two stages and 61,08 kilometers. "Karaski" is a brand-new stage at the itinerary with 12,04 Km and the crews will start their final day from it. Furthermore, this one will be the penultimate stage of the rally before the crews will head to PS. "Kambja" is the following stage after "Karaski" and will host the Powerstage from which the crews and the team can score five maximum points. Afterwards, all the crews will return to Tartu Town Hall Square for the prize giving and the finish podium ceremony.
Totally, Rally Estonia of 2023 contains 21 stages and 300,70 Kilometers.
