Pierre-Louis Loubet says that he will take the place of Ott Tanak at HYAcenter Ralli which is a rally located in Finland.
Ott Tanak participated in Louna-Eesti Ralli before the start of Rally Estonia with the view of spending more time inside his Puma apart from M-Sport Ford's test programme for the eighth WRC round. Despite the fact that the Cumbrian-based team is set to schedule another two-day test for its drivers before the start of Rally Finland, the 2019 driver would have the chance to gain more mileage with his car by participating at HYAcenter Ralli as his preparation for the second fast gravel event of the year. However, he decided to skip this warm-up rally, therefore M-Sport Ford suggested that Loubet take part with the Puma who accepted immediately the proposal of his team.
HYAcenter Ralli will be held on July 28-29 and Arnaud Dunand will navigate Loubet in this event.
"I knew that Ott would not do the small rally next week, I think he wants a bit of holiday, so they told me that I can do to replace him", Loubet said.
"So for me it’s a good thing, because I need the experience – you need the experience on these types of roads, and I already learned a lot here.
"So it’s good to continue.
"I don’t know the name of the rally, I just know Saturday that I will do it".
