At the end of the Shakedown session of Rally Estonia, Kalle Rovanpera set the pace on this early test with Thierry Neuville and Esapekka Lappi following him.
Kalle Rovanpera was the fastest driver through the Shakedown stage in Kastre improving his time on his fourth pass.
Thierry Neuville comes right behind the championship leader for two tenths of a second while he slid wide on his first run as he braked late into a junction.
Esapekka Lappi completes the 2-3 for Hyundai Motorsport despite the fact that the team does not perform well on fast gravel rallies.
Takamoto Katsuta is in fourth place overall and hold his teammate Elfyn Evans back for one tenth of a second.
Teemu Suninen is follows the Toyota duo on his debut with Hyundai Motorsport in hybrid era and, according to him, he is trying to adapt to his new car.
The home hero Ott Tanak ran only one time from the Shakedown stage as his Puma suffered from an engine issue. The M-Sport Ford mechanics had to fit a new engine for the rest of the rally which means that the Estonian takes a five-minute penalty for this change.
Pierre-Louis Loubet completes the 7-8 for M-Sport Ford and only him can fight for a better result for his team.
