Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT unveils the livery of Jari-Matti Latvala's car for Rally Finland which is about to start in three days.
The Japanese team will pause temporarily Latvala from being a team principal of them, as the Finn will compete in his home event with the GR Yaris Rally1, and this will be his first outing in World Rally Championship since 2020 where he partipated in Sweden as a privateer. Moreover, it must be mentioned that it will be his first time driving a hybrid car in WRC and he is testing the GR Yaris Rally1 in Finland today. Latvala's intention is to try understand his drivers, therefore Toyota gave him the chance to take part at the ninth round of the championship having Juho Hanninen as his co-driver. Last but not least, he picked the #97.
