The organizers of Acropolis Rally Greece announced the entries of their event which reach the 72.
For the WRC entries, Sebastien Ogier will make his sixth outing of the season and will score points for the manufacturers' championship among with Kalle Rovanpera and Elfyn Evans whereas Takamoto Katsuta will drive the fourth Yaris as part as of Toyota's WRC Challenge programme. Dani Sordo returns back to action after a two-event absence and will join Thierry Neuville and Esapekka Lappi at Hyundai's squad. Finally, Jourdas Serderidis will drive for M-Sport Ford at his home event and will have Ott Tanak and Pierre-Louis Loubet as his teammates. It must be mentioned that Acropolis Rally will be the last WRC event for Serderidis as he will retire after that, but he will continue driving in smaller rallies.
The WRC2 participants are 30! Andreas Mikkelsen, Sami Pajari, Oliver Solberg, Gus Greensmith, Kajetan Kajetanowicz, Nikolay Gryazin, Panagiotis Roustemis and Marco Bulacia will drive the new Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 while Hyundai Motorsport N will skip this event. However, Georg Linnamae and Lambros Athanasoulas will be behind the wheel of an i20N Rally2 as privateers. M-Sport Ford chose to compete with Adrien Fourmaux and Gregoire Munster while Martin Prokop and Robert Virves will have the chance to drive a Ford car as well. Alejandro Cachon and Chrysostomos Karellis will be the only WRC2 participants with the Citroen C3 Rally2. Finally, Alexandros Tsouloftas is the only driver from WRC2 class with the Volkswagen Polo GTI Rally2.
