At the end of the first day, Thierry Neuville is leading Central European Rally with Ott Tanak and Sebastien Ogier following him.
Thierry Neuville continued his great form since the Shakedown session and is the leader of Central European Rally after his setting the fastest time in Stage 2.
Ott Tanak dropped from first to second overall after the end of SS2, but his pace with the Puma is very promising as he was the quickest driver in SS1.
Sebastien Ogier is in third place overall and left Kalle Rovanpera behind for only one tenth of a second.
Teemu Suninen completes the top five and is the second top driver for Hyundai Motorsport on the classification while CER is his first tarmac event with the i20N Rally1.
Takamoto Katsuta is sixth overall at the end of Thursday, but his place is under threat by Pierre-Louis Loubet who is 0,3 seconds behind the Toyota driver.
Elfyn Evans, Esapekka Lappi and Gregoire Munster complete the top ten.
Evans lost almost five seconds in Stage 2 as he overshot a junction, but his pace is far from perfect on the first two stages of the rally considering the fact that he was the eighth-fastest driver in SS1.
Lappi received a 10-second time penalty in Stage 1 as he had a jump start while Munster dropped from sixth to tenth at the end of SS2.
