Marco Bulacia announced that he will not drive for Skoda Motorsport anymore and will join Yohan Rossel and Nikolay Gryazin at Citroen Racing in 2024.
The Bolivian driver made his WRC2 debut with Skoda Fabia R5 in 2018 and continued with the Czech brand for one more year. In 2020, he got behind the wheel of a Citroen C3 R5 and competed in WRC3 class where he was victorious at Rally Mexico and finished one more time at the podium positions at Rally Sardegna. Toksport offered him a contract and he had the chance to drive the Fabia Rally during the 2021 season while he had three finishes inside the top three. His good results made Toksport to extend his deal for one more season and was able to secure a drive with the brand-new Fabia RS Rally2 in 2023. Finally, the Bulacia drivers named Daniel Elena as the technical director of their team and so far only Marco has announced his plans for 2024 which include his participation with the Citroen C3 Rally2 of Sport&You.
"Happy and proud to rejoin the C3 Rally2 Family as an official Citroen driver alongside Yohan Rossel and Nikolay Gryazin for the 2024 WRC season, within the prestigious structure of Sport&You", Bulacia said.
"With the Citroën C3 I achieved my first victory in Mexico 2020, and I looking forward to drive it again, and be able to take a big quality jump in my sporting career.
"See you soon on the road!".
