At the end of the Shakedown session of Rally Sweden, Esapekka Lappi tops the SD times with Adrien Fourmaux and Ott Tanak following him.
Esapekka Lappi is the fastest driver at the Shakedown session and improved his time on his fourth run. Rally Sweden is the first event of his partial programme with Hyundai in 2024.
Adrien Fourmaux brought MSport Ford to second place overall on SD classification and gained five positions with his third pass.
Ott Tanak does the 1-3 for Hyundai Motorsport and was slower than Fourmaux for 0,2 seconds.
Kalle Rovanpera set the fourth-fastest time at the Shakedown stage, but he was the top driver before his compatriot running for a fourth time from SD.
Thierry Neuville completes the top five and reported an intercom issue which was fixed by his mechanics.
Elfyn Evans and Takamoto Katsuta do the 6-7 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT.
Gregoire Munster improved his times and is eighth overall while he was outside the top ten before his fourth SD run.
Lorenzo Bertelli is eleventh overall driving the fourth GR Yaris Rally1.
