The WRC event director, Simon Larkin, says that the next year's calerdar may be published in three months and hints that there is a lot of excitement and antipation for it.
So far, it is known that Sweden, Kenya, Sardinia, Finland and Canary Islands will be certainly included to the calendar of 2025 while the organizers of Rally Chile are very close to renew their deal with WRC Promoter as their contract is about to expire at the end of this year. However, it is tipped that Paraguay may join World Rally Championship next season if the organizers of Rally Argentina did not come to an agreement with FIA and WRC Promoter whereas Ireland has proposed a rotation system in which WRC will visit three different cities in three years. Finally, the sport may go to Middle East in 2025 as a desert rally has been missing from the calendar for years.
"We’re aiming for the middle of the year", Larkin said.
"I would say late June, around then.
"We have a lot of excitement and a huge amount of anticipation, so we want to get that word out".
