At the end of Thursday, Thierry Neuville has a minor lead over his teammate Ott Tanak with Kalle Rovanpera following them.
Thierry Neuville is the early lead of Safari Rally Kenya, as he set the fastest time in the superspecial stage "Kasarani", and beat his teammate Ott Tanak for one tenth of a second.
Kalle Rovanpera completes the top three and is 0,8 seconds far from the first place, but Takamoto Katsuta follows the two-time WRC Champion for 0,1 seconds.
Esapekka Lappi is in fifth place overall and his goal is to stay out of trouble throughout this rough event as Hyundai Motorsport had to change four propshafts on his car last year.
Elfyn Evans comes right behind the Rally Sweden winner for two tenths of a second.
Adrien Fourmaux is in seventh place overall and is really excited for returning back to Kenya.
Gus Greensmith, Gregoire Munster and Oliver Solberg complete the top ten.
