Croatia Rally - 2nd Day - 2nd Loop: Evans grabbed the lead for one stage, but Neuville responds back



At the end of Saturday evening, Thierry Neuville continues leading Croatia Rally with Elfyn Evans and Sebastien Ogier following him.

Thierry Neuville lost his lead at the end of Stage 13, but he managed to take it back in Stage 14 by setting the fastest time in SS14, SS15 and SS16.

Elfyn Evans was the new rally leader for one stage and was ahead of Neuville for two seconds at the end of SS13, but he dropped behind his title rival for 2,3 seconds at the end of SS14. The Welshman set the benchmark in Stage 13 and had an advantage over Neuville due to the fact that he had four soft tyres.

Sebastien Ogier remains third overall and comes right behind his teammate for 6,7 seconds.

Ott Tanak is still in fourth place and managed to build a gap between him and the fifth Adrien Fourmaux.

The M-Sport driver completes the top five and was chased by Takamoto Katsuta as their gap is at 38,8 seconds.

Andreas Mikkelsen could not match the pace of Takamoto Katsuta and is still seventh while he had understeer and nearly rode up a bank towards the end of Stage 14.

Gregoire Munster lost more ground compared to Mikkelsen on Saturday evening as thei gap is 55,5 seconds before heading to the final day of the rally.

All Toyota drivers had four soft tyres on their Yaris whereas Hyundai trio and Adrien Fourmaux carried two hard and two soft tyres.
