Stellantis Group confirmed today that Lancia will make its come back to the rallying with the new Ypsilon HF which is set for a world premiere on May 2025.

More specifically, it was rumored two months ago that Lancia might involve in rallying again, but Stellantis Group confirmed this news by publishing a press release. According to it, the Italian car brand will debut the new full-electric Ypsilon HF on the market on May 2025 while the launch of two other cars will be followed and will join the HF family, the Gamma and the Delta. The new Ypsilon HF will be powered with a 100% 240-hp engine and with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. In addition to these, it will feature lowered suspension, a widened wheel track and assertive, muscular shapes, inspired by the most radical iconic cars that made history for the brand. But, the most exciting news is that Lancia will be active again in rallying by starting from the basics categories as the Italians will built a Ypsilon HF Rally4 car which will be powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder 4-valve-per-cylinder engine that delivers 212 hp. Equipped with front-wheel drive with 5-speed mechanical transmission and mechanical limited-slip differential, the high-performance model is the ideal solution for all rally enthusiasts to enjoy but is also a serious candidate for drivers aspiring to victory in the R4 class and in the two-wheel drive championships.
