Yohan Rossel confirmed that he will part ways with Arnaud Dunand with immediate effect and that Benjamin Boulloud will be his new navigator for the upcoming WRC round.
Rossel started his cooperation with Dunand in 2022 and together they claimed five victories in WRC2 class since then, but the last one made a shock decision as he announced his quit from his co-driver seat despite the fact that the Citroen crew is now leading the WRC2 championship after the end of Rally de Portugal. The French driver also confirmed Benjamin Boulloud for the rest of 2024 who was navigating Yoann Bonato at France Tarmac championship, ERC and WRC2 for many years, but it must be mentioned that Rossel and Boulloud have collaborated again in the past as their first appearance was at Rallye Monte Carlo in 2022. In addition to this outing, they are set to be the crew that will drive a Citroen C3 Rally2 as a course car at Rallye Terre d'Aléria which will be held on May 24-25.
"After almost two years spent together and a lot of good memories, Arnaud Dunand has decided to take a step back and our collaboration comes to an end", Rossel said.
"I would like to thank him for all the incredible job he has done during these past few months, I will never forget our victories and I’m proud to have achieved a part of the road with him.
"I totally respect his decision and I wish Arnaud the very best for the future.
"I’m also happy to announce I will share the Citroën C3 Rally2 with Benjamin Boulloud in Sardinia".
