At the end of Friday morning, Sebastien Ogier is the rally leader in Greece with Adrien Fourmaux and Ott Tanak following him.
Sebastien Ogier climbed to the first place at the end of Stage 3, as he was the fastest driver in SS1 and SS3, while he lost his lead over Tanak at the end of Stage 2 as their gap was at 0,6 seconds.
Adrien Fourmaux gained two places since Stage 2 and is now second overall despite the fact that he had no hybrid in all morning stages. In addition to that, he stated at the end of SS1 that there was smoke coming from his Puma.
Ott Tanak completes the top three and lost his lead at the end of Stage 3 while he stole Ogier's lead at the end of SS2 and was ahead of Takamoto Katsuta for 0,2 seconds as he set the fastest time in SS2.
Dani Sordo follows his teammate for 9,6 seconds and could not explain the reason why he was losing time in the stages.
Thierry Neuville does the 3-4-5 for Hyundai Motorsport and his i20N was running with three cylinders since Stage 1.
Gregoire Munster is in seventh overall behind Yohan Rossel and faced many problems with his Puma. First of all, he said at the end of SS1 that the shift to neutral had a problem while he had no handbrake since Stage 2.
Elfyn Evans is outside the top ten as he lost more than two minutes in Stage 1 due to the fact that he stopped 15.1Km into SS1 to change a puncture and reported issues with his Yaris. In Stage 2, he dropped more than three minutes as he had no power, but he managed to complete Friday morning and his mechanics will fix his Yaris for the afternoon loop.
Takamoto Katsuta was second overall at the end of SS2 and was forced to stop 5.1Km into SS3, but we do not have more info about his retirement.
