At the end of the Shakedown session of Rally Chile, Esapekka Lappi was the top driver on SD classification with Martins Sesks and Sami Pajari following him.
Esapekka Lappi topped the Shakedown leaderboard by setting the fastest on his second pass from SD despite the fact that it has been one month since his last outing with the Hyundai i20N Rally1.
Martins Sesks is the second-fastest driver on his third outing with the Puma, but he will drive the non-hybrid Puma this weekend.
Sami Pajari comes right behind the Latvian driver for four tenths of a second and is the replacement of Takamoto Katsuta for Rally Chile.
Kalle Rovanpera makes his return back to the wheel of the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 since Rally Finland one month ago and is in fourth place overall.
Ott Tanak completes the top five at the Shakedown classification and will start second on the road tomorrow.
Elfyn Evans is sixth overall as his title hopes fade after the disastrous appearance he had at Acropolis Rally earlier this month.
Thierry Neuville follows the Welshman for 2,6 seconds and Rally Chile will be his final gravel event where he will have to clean the roads for the following drivers.
Gregoire Munster is the top M-Sport Ford driver despite the fact that he was distracted on his first pass from SD by the fact that his door was opening during the stage.
Nikolay Gryazin and Sebastien Ogier complete the top ten. The eight-time WRC Champion faced some early issues with his Yaris as the cockpit has flagged soemthing on the dashboard and had to slow down towards the end of the stage.
Adrien Fourmaux is outside the top ten as his Puma suffered from some issues, but we do not know exactly what happened to him.
