At the end of the first day, Sebastien Ogier is leading Central European Rally with Thierry Neuville and Andreas Mikkelsen following him.
Sebastien is the leader of Central European Rally since the beginning as he was the fastest driver in Stage 1.
Thierry Neuville responded and climbed to second position overall at the end of SS2 as he set the fastest time in Klatovy, but he damaged the front end of his i20N when he touched a hay bale in Stage 1.
Andreas Mikkelsen does the 2-3 for Hyundai Motorsport and is just 0,8 seconds behind his teammate.
Takamoto Katsuta dropped from second to fourth place overall at the end of Stage 2 and was beaten for 0,6 seconds in Stage 1 by Ogier.
Ott Tanak comes right behind the Japanese driver for only one tenth of a second while his fifth place is under threat by Adrien Fourmaux who follows the first one for 0,3 seconds.
Elfyn Evans completes the first day of CER in seventh place overall despite the fact that he was starting fourth on the tarmac.
Sami Pajari, Gregoire Munster and Oliver Solberg complete the top ten.
The driver from Luxemburg reported understeer with his Puma at the end of Stage 2.
