CER - 3rd Day - 1st Loop: Neuville's mistake puts Ogier out in front, Fourmaux retires

At the end of Saturday morning, Sebastien Ogier retakes the lead of Central European Rally with Ott Tanak and Elfyn Evans following him.

Sebastien Ogier climbed to the first place after Thierry Neuville's mistake in Stage 11 where the Frenchman was the fastest driver there. Furthermore, he lost his second place over Ott Tanak at the end of Stage 9, but he managed to take it back in Stage 10.

Ott Tanak moved up to second place overall again as he stole Ogier's place at the end of Stage 9 as the Estonian set the fastest time there. In fact, he was just 0,8 seconds behind the former rally leader Neuville after the end of SS9.

Elfyn Evans does the 1-3 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT and was the fastest driver in Stage 10 while he was very close in taking another stage win, but he was beaten by Ogier for 0,1 seconds in SS11.

Thierry Neuville lost three positions in Stage 11 and is now in fourth place as he suffered a 360 spin due to the fact that he went wide coming into the entry of a corner and later slipped into a ditch.

Takamoto Katsuta completes the top five and made a mistake in Stage 11 as he had an overshoot in a junction resulting in heading into a field.

Sami Pajari keeps his sixth place overall and tried to stay out of trouble, thus he did not take any unnecessary risk.

Gregoire Munster is now seventh overall after his teammate's retirement and had a small excursion in a field in Stage 11.

Andreas Mikkelsen restarted under the SuperRally regulations today and had a moment in Stage 9 when he touched the rear left on the grass and spun him around 14.2Km into SS9.

Adrien Fourmaux was forced to retire before the start of Stage 11 as he reported problems with the front differential of his Puma since Stage 9. The Frenchman was in seventh place overall before his retirement while he had to stop to change a tyre following a spin 11.6Km into SS10.
