Neuville completed his test with the 2025 i20N Rally1

Thierry Neuville tested the Hyundai i20N Rally1 for the 2025 season and shares his first impressions with this car, but Hyundai's focus remains in this year's targets.

The Belgian driver had the chance to get behind the wheel of the upgraded i20N Rally1 in order to give to the Hyundai's mechanics valuable feedback ahead of the new season as this year's championship is about to end next month. The team brought an upgraded suspension and a new transmission system to the next year's car as Hyundai used some homologation jokers in order to develop further its car and to be well-prepared for the new WRC season. This test was held in Czech Republic and was part of the pre-event test for Central European Rally which starts with the Shakedown session and two stages today.

"It was interesting", Neuville said.

"We are working in the right direction.

"I didn’t do a lot of driving with it, but it felt good.

"But after that, we focused more on the end of the season – that’s what counts at the moment".
