Official: Rally Japan to stay in WRC until the end of 2028

The organizers of Rally Japan announced that their event will remain in World Rally Championship until the end of the 2028 WRC season.

Rally Japan returned back to the WRC calendar in 2022 after twelve years absence from the sport and has hosted the season finale from 2022 to 2024. Rally Saudi Arabia will host the final round of WRC in 2025 which means that Rally Japan will be the penultimate round of the championship next year. The organizers reached a new agreement with WRC Promoter and FIA and managed to extend their deal for more three seasons which means that Rally Japan has already secured its slot at the calendar until the end of 2028. In addition to that, Toyota city will remain the rally center of the event for the next four years while this year's Rally Japan will define the WRC Champions on the drivers' and on the manufacturers' championships. Last but not least, it must be mentioned that Rally Japan will be held on November 21-24 and includes 21 stages with the competitive kilometers reaching the 302,59.
