The organizers of Rally Japan announced the entries of their event which reach the 44.
Toyota will compete with Elfyn Evans, Sebastien Ogier and Takamoto Katsuta in Japan as Kalle Rovanpera has completed his part-time programme with the team. Andreas Mikkelsen will drive the third Hyundai i20N Rally1 and will join forces with Thierry Neuville and Ott Tanak for the manufacturers' championship. On the other hand, M-Sport Ford will bring two Puma Rally1 cars for Adrien Fourmaux and Gregoire Munster.
The WRC2 participants are 18 with the most important being Sami Pajari, Jan Solans, Yuki Yamamoto, Chris Ingram, Heiki Kovailanen, Hilaru Kogure and Norihiko Katsuta with the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. Kajetan Kajetanowicz, Joshua McErlean and Gus Greensmith will get behind the wheel of the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 whereas Nikolay Gryazin will drive the Citroen C3 Rally2. Finally, Georgios Vasilakis will do an outing with the Ford Fiesta MKII Rally2.
