As the championship heads to the final WRC round of the season, Thierry Neuville can can clinch his maiden title in World Rally Championship, but how the Belgian driver can become a WRC Champion at Rally Japan?
Thierry Neuville is heading to Rally Japan with a 25-point advantage over Ott Tanak and reels in clinching his first crown in World Rally Championship. Sebastien Ogier and Elfyn Evans are mathematically out of the contention for the WRC title bid which means that only Tanak has the chance to fight for this year's championship. The Belgian driver has to score more than six points at Rally Japan compared to Tanak in order to win the championship. If Tanak manages to outscore his teammate for 26 points, this means that Tanak will become the 2024 WRC Champion as both of them have equal wins so far this season.
