At the end of Thursday, Adrien Fourmaux holds a tine lead with Ott Tanak and Takamoto Katsuta following him.
Adrien Foumaux sets the fastest time in Stage 1 and takes an early lead as he left Ott Tanak behind for 0,8 seconds.
Takamoto Katsuta is just three tenths behind the second Tanak and heads the 3-4-5 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT.
Elfyn Evans comes right his teammate for only one tenth of a second and will try to repeat the result he achieved at Rally Japan last year.
Sebastien Ogier and Thierry Neuville set an identical time in Stage 1, but the first one was faster than Neuville for some thousandths of a second, thus he is fifth overall.
Gregoire Munster sits in seventh position and will try to complete his full season with M-Sport Ford in a positive way.
Andreas Mikkelsen is in the bottom of the WRC classification as he dropped time in Stage 1 due to the fact that his i20N was almost out of fuel.
