Official: Citroen confirms Rossel brothers for 2025 WRC2 season

Citroen Racing announced that Yohan Rossel will continue with them for one more season and will have his brother, Leo, as his teammate in 2025.

Yohan Rossel has been a Citroen driver in WRC2 and in WRC3 classes since 2019 and was among the title contenders for this year's championship together with Oliver Solberg and Sami Pajari. On the other hand, Leo Rossel has been also driving a Citroen car since 2022 while he became the 2024 French Champion with the Citroen C3 Rally2. Leo will replace Nikolay Gryazin next year as it is expected that the last one will return back to the wheel of the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2. So far, only Solberg and Rossel brothers have confirmed their plans for the next season in WRC2 class with one month remaining until the start of Rallye Monte Carlo.

"Representing Citroën Racing at the highest level is a tremendous honor and extending my commitment with my brother Léo in 2025 adds a deeply personal and passionate dimension to this challenge", Yohan Rossel said.

"The C3 Rally2 has been phenomenal this season, whether on asphalt or gravel, and I’m excited to continue pushing its limits with a car that keeps evolving and surprising us".

Finally, Leo Rossel stated: "Becoming the 2024 French Rally Champion with the C3 Rally2 was an incredible milestone in my career and joining Citroën Racing as an official driver in 2025 is a dream come true.

"Having grown up in the world of rallying and through the Stellantis Motorsport promotion programs, my journey is a testament to Citroën’s commitment to young talent.

"I’m ready to take on this new challenge alongside my brother Yohan and continue pushing the limits of this extraordinary car".
