Adrien Fourmaux believes that his teammates must count on himself after his achievement at Rallye Monte Carlo.
The Frenchman finished Rallye Monte Carlo as the top Hyundai driver and stayed out of trouble throughout last weekend apart the time he had a stall in Stage 11. He claimed his first ever stage win with the i20N Rally1 while he won two stages totally. Moreover, he gave a great fight with Elfyn Evans for the second place while he managed to keep Ott Tanak and Kalle Rovanpera behind and to hold his third place. At the end of Rallye Monte Carlo, Fourmaux has 20 points and will start second on the road at Rally Sweden.
"Tänak and Neuville are the two world champions, so we will need to see how it goes", Fourmaux said. "But for sure, the result shows also that they need to count on myself.
"I am not just here to play behind and wait for something to happen – I can also play in front".
