Cyril Abiteboul says that Hyundai is focusing only on its three drivers which means that there is no possibility to see one more i20N in 2025.
Hyundai has changed its third-car strategy and for the first year the team is running with three full-time drivers who are Thierry Neuville, Ott Tanak and Adrien Fourmaux. Dani Sordo and Esapekka Lappi had revealed that they were still in talks with Hyundai in order to secure one outing with the fourth i20N which apparently will not happen this year. At the end of Rallye Monte Carlo, Hyundai is second overall with 36 points and is 24 points behind Toyota as the last one achieved a 1-2 at the season opener.
"It will be mainly those three, frankly", Abiteboul said.
"We will see if there is a necessity and the opportunity, it may be that there is a fourth one, but right now I want to really focus on those three cars".
