Rally Sweden - 1st Day: Evans sets an early pace, Rovanpera and Tanak identical



At the end of the first day, Elfyn Evans is the leading driver of Rally Sweden with Kalle Rovanpera and Ott Tanak following him.

Elfyn Evans is leading Raly Sweden as he set the fastest time in Stage 1 and left behind Kalle Rovanpera and Ott Tanak for 0,5 seconds.

Rovanpera and Tanak set an identical pace in Stage 1, but the Toyota driver was faster than the last one for some thousandths of a second, this he is second overall.

Adrien Fourmaux comes right behind for 0,7 seconds and hit a bump on a snowbank.

Thierry Neuville completes the top five and faced a small intercom issue which carried since the Shakedown session.

Takamoto Katsuta is in sixth place overall and left his teammate Sami Pajari behind for 0,2 seconds.

Josh McErlean, Gregoire Munster and Martins Sesks complete the top ten. The Latvian driver made a mistake on the first junction of Stage 1 resulting in losing time.
