Rally Sweden - 3rd Day - 1st Loop: Evans still out in front as Rovanpera joins the chat



At the end of Saturday morning, Elfyn Evans is still leading Rally Sweden with  Takamoto Katsuta and Ott Tanak following him.

Elfyn Evans managed to increase his lead to 2,8 seconds over his teammate by setting the fastest time in Stage 10.

Takamoto Katsuta does the 1-2 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT and was just 0,1 seconds behind Evans at the end of SS9. 

Thierry Neuville moved up to third place and had a half spin in Stage 9, but he was the fastest driver in SS11. Moreover, he continued complaining about understeer.

Ott Tanak slipped behind his teammate Neuville for 0,3 seconds at the end of SS11 as he dropped time in SS11 due to potential engine issues.

Kalle Rovanpera completes the top five, but he managed to decrease his gap from the frontrunners by setting the fastest time in Stage 9.

Adrien Fourmaux dropped from fourth to sixth at the end of Stage 11 as he stopped near the start in order to adjust his helmet.

Martins Sesks does not threat Rovanpera as their gap is at seconds.

Sami Pajari moved up to eighth position overall as Josh McErlean had a brief stop 4.9Km into SS9.

Gregoire Munster remains tenth overall.
