The organizers of Rally Sardinia announced the route of their event for 2025 which will be held on June 5-8.
The 22nd Rally Italia Sardegna features a compact route, starting on Thursday 5 June with the new Shakedown hosted in the city of Olbia at Cabu Abbas (2.19 km). On Friday 6 June in the morning at 8.15 am the start of the first leg set in Gallura and Monte Acuto, consisting of 122.66 timed kilometres and six special stages, those repeated twice in Arzachena (in fact La Prugnola) of 14.90 km, the new SS of Calangianus-Berchidda (18.60 km), and Sa Conchedda (27.83 km), which partly follows the special stage of Monti di Alà. In the middle of the day there will be a Service Park in Olbia. Then on Saturday, 7 June, the second leg will be 122.80 timed kilometres long, all disputed in Monte Acuto, divided into a further six special stages. Those repeated twice of Coiluna-Loelle (21.19 km), Lerno-Su Filigosu (24.32 km) and Tula-Erula (15.89 km). All classic stages of Rally Italia Sardegna, which will have some different sections than in the past. Finally, on Sunday 8 June, the final day of 79.18 timed kilometres, totally new because it features two largely unedited time trials to be repeated twice. The first, San Giacomo-Plebi (25.74 km), returns after more than ten years, but only partly follows the route taken in the past, while the second, Porto San Paolo (13.85 km), which will host the final Power Stage, is completely new and features wide sea views and the enchanting profile of the island of Tavolara in the background. The final podium is scheduled in Olbia at 4.00 pm.
