At the end of Friday morning, Ott Tanak keeps his lead in Kenya with Elfyn Evans and Kalle Rovanpera following him.
Ott Tanak managed to increase his advantage over his rivals by setting the fastest time on the first two stages of Friday morning.
Elfyn Evans follows the Estonian for seconds despite the fact that he was opening the stages today.
Kalle Rovanpera does the 2-3 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT and was the fastest driver in Stage 5.
Thierry Neuville claimed three places and is now fourth overall despite the fact that he received a one-minute time penalty for leaving the service with a six-minute delay. Moreover, he took a 10-second time penalty due to jump start in Stage 5.
Josh McErlean dropped from fourth to fifth at the end of Stage 5 with the gap being at 1,8 seconds from Neuville at the end of SS5.
Takamoto Katsuta is behind the sixth Oliver Solberg on the classification as the first one had a tyre off the rim in Stage 3 resulting in dropping more than two minutes.
Sami Pajari is eleventh overall as he lost more than minutes in Stage 3 for chaning a puncture.
Gregoire Munster and Adrien Fourmaux are also outise the top ten. Munster damaged the rear left suspension of his Puma in Stage 4 while Fourmaux restarted today under the SuperRally regulations following his retirement beofre the start of Stage 2 due to electrical issues.
